PEACE CIRCLES

What is a Peace Circle?

Peace Circles is a methodology to bring people together to explore and address issues and challenges in a respectful and inclusive way. It has an intentional structure and is a flexible methodology for connection, communication and change. The intention is to help participants take the conversation out of the room after the Circle has ended.

Peace Circles can be used in a broad range of settings and for various purposes such as strategic planning, learning and development, conflict resolution, problem-solving, decision-making, healing and reconciliation and relationship building.

Depending on the purpose, Circles can take the form of a once-off conversation lasting from a couple of hours to a longer process conducted over a number of days. They could also be structured as a series of conversations that take place over a period of time.

Possible Outcomes of a Peace Circle:

  • Clarity for a way forward resulting in meaningful action

  • Being heard for the first time resulting in renewed commitment to the team

  • A sense of belonging resulting in high engagement levels

  • Honesty resulting in a realistic view of the team / group / situation

ENNEAGRAM FOR TEAMS

This workshop supports development of work teams. All team members are debriefed on their Ennea Type individually and then a 1 or 2 day Team Workshop provides the platform for team awareness to expand.

  • How is your team likely to deal with challenges?

  • Which stage of team development have you reached?

  • How does the Team Leader's Ennea Type impact the team?

  • What does this mean for productivity? Communication? Strategy?

Please go to the Enneagram page for more on the Enneagram as a framework.
